White House Decries 'Democrat Fabrication' as Further Jeffrey Epstein Photos Made Public

Democratic lawmakers have published a fresh batch of what they termed "alarming" images from the property of convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein, including among others Donald Trump, Bill Clinton, and ex-UK prince Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor.

The initial drop of 19 photographs—some of which have been previously circulated—along with another 70 unveiled later on Friday constitute a minuscule portion of the nearly 100,000 images handed over to the House investigative panel, which is looking into the actions and ties of Epstein.

The disgraced financier was a victim of apparent suicide in a New York prison cell in 2019 after being charged with sex-trafficking crimes.

High-Profile Individuals in the Photos

Included in the prominent personalities seen in the initial batch are public figures such as film director Woody Allen; Microsoft founder Bill Gates; and Richard Branson, creator of the Virgin empire.

Donald Trump appears in three of the initial 19 images. In one, he is pictured with six women, whose faces are blacked out.

Administration Reaction

The White House addressed the release in a statement, charging Democrats of purposefully "cherry-picking" the pictures for electoral motives and to "attempt to fabricate a false storyline."

"This Democratic fabrication against President Trump has been time and again refuted," a White House spokesperson remarked, asserting that "the current government has accomplished more for Epstein's survivors than Democrats have at any point by repeatedly calling for disclosure, making public thousands of pages of papers, and calling for additional probes into Epstein's Democratic associates."

Democratic Lawmaker Comment

The photographs were disclosed lacking captions, but as stated by a California Democrat and ranking member of the investigative panel, they prompt further inquiries about Epstein's associations with wealthy individuals.

"The moment has come to stop this White House obfuscation and deliver justice to the survivors of Jeffrey Epstein and his powerful friends," he said in a statement.

The publication of these documents coincides with the oversight committee continuing its probe into the affair.
