Football Analyst Chris Sutton Takes On Artist Murs in Premier League Predictions
The Gunners' ten-match winning streak came to an end by the Black Cats prior to the international break, but will the Premier League leaders recover against local foes Tottenham this weekend?
"{I believe like Arsenal are miles ahead of Tottenham at the moment but Spurs boss Thomas Frank will have a plan for this game," stated soccer expert Chris Sutton.
"The Spurs manager will try to neutralize Arsenal, who have not always been at their sparkling finest this season - but Mikel Arteta's team usually still manage to win."
The analyst is making predictions for all 380 Premier League games this term, against AI, readers and a range of special visitors.
In week 12, he takes on performer Olly Murs, who is a Manchester United fan.
Murs' latest record, the new release, is out on Friday.

Olly is a talented footballer as well as a successful artist and has been a featured player of several charity football matches down the years - but he is not planning a serious return as a footballer.
"{I recently played in a benefit match the other evening for a friend of mine," he explained. "My team was losing 3-1 when I was substituted in the second half, and they went on to win 4-3, so you can read into that what you want!
"I still love football, but I injured my knee a few years ago and it even now isn't where I want it to be. I wish I could play more but the unpredictability of the game means it's too dangerous for me in my profession to do it properly again.
"Additionally I am 41 now, and we are not all Cristiano Ronaldo, are we!? No, I am very happy not playing football and I am gearing up for the moment that my daughter or boy decides to play instead."
The singer and his wife Amelia Tank have two children, their daughter and Albert, and he is prepared to emulate his dad by becoming their manager.
"I won't force football on our kids but I've already told my wife that if they happen to get the bug for it then I will have to go and get my manager qualifications - and I will probably be managing their weekend soccer side," he said.
"I watched my nephews play a lot, and I really got into it, and I clearly was involved with a soccer team for a while too.
"My dad did it with us when I was a kid, which is likely where I inherited it. He coached our team for several years and had great fun with it. That could be the future for me as well, and I am excited to it!"
Premier League Forecasts
Weekend, 22 November
- Turf Moor, 12:30 GMT
The Blues may have to be patient for Cole Palmer's return from injury but their offense is now stronger with Joao Pedro and Delap both returned to fitness.
In my opinion this fixture will be quite close, though. Burnley are well organised and their sole at Turf Moor defeats so far have been against the Reds and Arsenal.
It smells of a 1-1 draw to me, but I am in fact going to go with the London side to edge it for what would be their third league win in a row.
Sutton's prediction: 1-2
The singer's pick: Chelsea will be superior. 1-3
AI's outlook: 0-2
- Vitality Stadium, 15:00 GMT
The Cherries have lost their previous couple games - although both of them were on the road - but they got thoroughly beaten by Villa last time out which shocked me.
On the other hand, West Ham secured two in a row before the hiatus and, although both of those fixtures were at home, they appear competitive again.
West Ham's only away win this campaign came at Nottingham Forest in the summer, when West Ham boss Nuno was still Forest manager.
Therefore, what exactly do I predict here - will it be West Ham continuing their streak under their manager, or the home side responding?
I am going to choose Bournemouth, because I think what happened against Villa was a anomaly.
The pundit's prediction: 2-0
The guest's outlook: Bournemouth are performing strongly but the visitors have improved under Nuno. 2-2
AI's pick: 1-1
- Amex Stadium, 15:00 GMT
The Bees were considered one of the favourites for relegation before the season began, but they have surprised a few people under Keith Andrews and are in fine fettle with three wins in their last four games.
My son advised me to select Bees striker Thiago in my fantasy soccer team a few weeks back and, unfortunately, I didn't listen.
The forward will likely find the net again on Saturday but I am nonetheless not going to pick him or back Brentford at Amex Stadium.
The Bees have not had much success on the road this term, and Brighton are consistently strong at their stadium. Brentford will attempt to hit them on the counter-attack but I feel the home manager's team pose much more of a threat.
The analyst's forecast: 2-1
The singer's prediction: This could be one of those games where you expect there is going to be a lot of scores but it in reality turns out to be rather tight. 1-1
The computer's outcome: 2-1
- Craven Cottage, 15:00 GMT
This is a huge fixture for the Cottagers, who have lost five of their past six matches.
They have got plenty of talent in their team but it still feels like they could be dragged into a relegation battle.
As for the Black Cats, well they are the surprise package of the top flight campaign so far.
Their performance in the two-all draw with the Gunners last time out was superb. We have not seen anyone else disrupt the Gunners like that this season, and Sunderland were more than a match for them.
The logical choice to do to support the Black Cats here, because they are obviously able of roughing the hosts up too and, the last time they were in west London, they beat the Blues at the end of October.
However I am not do that. Instead, I truly need to carry on opposing Sunderland with my predictions. I am taking a lot of responsibility for their positive results because they evidently love to prove me wrong.
Looking at the home side's at Craven Cottage form, the only side they have lost to is Arsenal. Their manager's side will be absolutely eager for a good result, so I am going to predict they will secure three much-needed points.
Sutton's prediction: 1-0
The guest's choice: I know Sunderland are doing well and also that the hosts are on a poor run... but they have nonetheless been decent at Craven Cottage this season. 2-0
The algorithm's prediction: 2-0
- Anfield, 15:00 GMT
This is a tough fixture to call. Liverpool have suffered seven of their last ten games in all competitions, but could they be one of the sides who profit from the {international break|
